We stayed this past summer. The staff was always nice but short on the phone. The same for in person with the exception of two workers that were super nice. The cafe had leaking ceilings, which was resulting on them dripping onto the water tables next to the table where we were eating and very wet floor floors. There was a VERY musty smell in the room. Stayed here for two nights because we had a medical procedure in D.C. and the gentleman at the front office Kibrom was kind enough to give us an hour late check out and even offered us two bottles of water while we were waiting in the lobby for our flight which wasn’t until later in the afternoon. We were offered complementary breakfast because they offer that to Veterans. Had a great time in Washington dc the room was great stayed 2 nights. I didn't know that you had to have a room key to work the elevator I wasn't told that. All the staff was great very helpful with directions to resturants and sites. The room had a old tv. The 2nd night no sound on the TV. I called the front desk and someone was supposed to come check it, 30 mins later I turned the TV on and off a few times and the sound started to work so I canceled the help from the staff. This hotel is within walking distance of all Memorials in Washington DC. The front desk staff were very attentive. The room was just right. All amenities were great. Juan Carlos helped to make arrangements for someone to help with our bags when we left. Everyone we encountered here were amazingly courteous. The price of the room was very reasonable. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I arrived at this hotel on October 29, 2025, in the morning. I have to say I am more than satisfied. In fact, I'm not giving it more stars because there aren't any options, but this hotel deserves even 10. POSITIVE: EVERYTHING. Especially: 1).
