Great location while visiting the Irvine Spectrum. They had all cupcake flavors available and even the pup cupcakes!! I tried the Sticky Toffee! Which I was so happy I chose that one and not my normal go to!! It was delicious!!! I also got my husband his favorite, strawberry. And I got our doggies their pup cupcakes!! They loved them!! Customer service was great and quick. Everyone was in and out very quickly.
New Sprinkles location at Irvine Spectrum was 5 stars in all regards except ordering was too impersonal. Greeting with a smile would be nice and also when in person ordering cupcakes a screen to wait 5-15 minutes when the employee needs to just grab the cupcake and give it to you makes no sense. Let me start with the cupcake. Tonight I got the Dark Chocolate cupcake... at $5.10 per cupcake, that is pretty STEEP. The cream/frosting was DELICIOUS... but unfortunately my cake was DRY. I was soooo disappointed because I didn't eat my cupcake until I got all the way home. Foe that price point per cupcake...I expected a moist / perfect cupcake. Sprinkles has sure changed since they first opened. Dang, Candace, prices went up and cake portion went WAY down. I was shocked at the ratio of frosting to cake especially since the "cupcake queen" is on a show and she literally comments on the bakers cake to frosting ratio and she's doing the SAME thing. Not worth paying $40 for 6 cupcakes. Just make your own.
When ever AMN is in Orange County for signings, we always stop here for sweet treats. Deliciously fresh moist flavorful delights. Impeccable service keep it up.
