It's has a charm with the open floor tiers. What a view. Large staircases in house dining. It's quiet and all around you see Springfield's depth of growth over the years from every window. Rooms great not to old not to modern. Problem is parking $20 in the hotel and the gates sporadically work causing backups. Elevators require your key to go up and if any one hits a button on a floor you aren't moving from there. Lots of confusion witnessed. If you feel nostalgic for the late 90s. Nothing has been updated in years and it shows. Because of that it has rather spooky vibe to it especially if it’s not busy. The Marriott that is connected by the sky bridge is much much nicer and modern and somehow often times less expensive than the Sheraton. Parking is easy and the in room dining isn’t bad. The gym is laughable and the pool is okay.

Completely unimpressed with the management of this location. They have no idea what good customer service is. We were told check out is at 12 pm. Cleaning crew cleaned our room prior to check out resulting in the los of personal items. Threw away approximately $40 worth of food we were planning on eating. In addition they use a 3rd party company for the garage. We had an urgent situation and had to leave and ended up paying for more than double what we should have paid for parking. I stayed here while participating in the annual SAI region 1 competition. They gave my singing partners and me adjoined rooms, and were extremely kind and thoughtful the entire weekend. I specifically want to highlight Diana at the front desk. When I left the hotel this morning I went to talk to her. Since many of us for this competition usually share rooms, we try to put each room on one card and divide costs among ourselves later, rather than ask the hotel to split the bill for us, to avoid creating longs lines in the lob... read more

Pool was the perfect temperature! Normally hotel pools aren’t super warm but this was warm enough to walk right in and swim. Great size for laps and racing:) Hotel was older and could use updates. Was upgraded to club level access(reservation says this) due to gold status but then told no actual access to the club, just given a room on the club floor.
