I originally posted an angry review with 2/5 stars due to reserving a king size room and being placed in a two bed, but this morning I went back to the front and they not only moved me to a king, but also thoughtfully explained what the original issue was with why I was not reserved the room the first night. I admit that I did not understand the nature of the reservation of king sized rooms and now that I understand, I am changing my review to reflect the service that I was provided. The receptionist was fantastic. What a lovely way to start! Greeted with lots of warmth and charm. The room had great views. It was also very quiet indeed. However, the blow dryer was dirty and gross. No liners in the waste baskets? Maybe thats a thing now. The outlet in the nightstand next to the bed was dirty and nightstand chipped. The artwork looked like a spirograph doodle. Lobby furniture is old. The usb port On the desk didnt work so its a good thing we has a plug in to charge our phones. Excellent experience from check-in to check-out at the Seaport Hotel at the World Trade Center. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel itself is very clean, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. I especially appreciated that they still offer daily housekeeping service, which seems harder to find these days. It's a very nice, pleasant, well-appointed, nicely designed and decorated, comfortable hotel. Nice, helpful, and pleasant staff. Despite being in a fairly busy location, you hear zero street noise. The HVAC system is pretty nice - you don't hear it at all, yet it keeps the room very comfortable. The king room was nice, spacious, cozy, comfortable. Nice design, blending classy and modern style.
