The reservation was from 5 to 9 for my honeymoon trip. We took a 7-hour flight from NY to California. We arrived at the hotel at 2:00 a.m. and there was no electricity when we entered the room. The front desk tried to fix it, but it was still out of power at 3:00 am. I told the front desk not to call and that I would contact the front desk in the morning to fix it. But their manager called at 9:00 a.m. and said she would come to fix it. I said I was still sleeping, but they called again at 10:00 am. to harass me. The funnies... read more
I live just a couple of houses down from this motel on 10th Street, and the ongoing construction has made life unbearable. My house has been rattling for weeks, and the noise and disruption seem endless and inconsiderate. A neighbor mentioned that the motel handed out goodie bags, including a free night’s stay as an apology for the inconvenience. I’m a bit conflicted in regard to this review. We very much enjoyed our stay, however there were a couple negative things that stick out. What I appreciated, was being shown to our room by the associate in front. We have stayed at many hotels, world wide, and rarely are ever asked to be shown to our room. Very classy. Absolutely fantastic location right on the strand in Hermosa Beach. They’re currently doing some upgrades and remodeling so I’m excited to see what it’s like in the future. Very friendly staff walk to everything you need and good price for the location. We will definitely be back
Everything was top notch. Wonderful, friendly staff. The renovation of the Sea Sprite was tastefully done. Our room/suite was comfortable, airy, lots of light, bathroom was large with lots of towels. Bathroom amenities were great, love that the body products were refills & not the tiny throw away plastic products. Watching sunsets from our lanai was special & being able to people watch on the Strand was great. Walking distance to everything downtown Hermosa Beach has to offer was fantastic.
