The staff was very nice and helpful. I was so happy with this room which was renovated about 4 years ago. Very nice. And a very comfortable king bed. The walk to the harbor restaurants was scenic along the yacht harbor. Large flat screen TV, too!

A Hotel that tries/ Even when they don't have to. Located next to a fisherman centric locale, this hotel can honestly just pack it in and still book every room each day of the year. Yet they strive to be better Here is what I found: Great customer service The most comfortable beds ever...Im a former Travel Agent and I'm used to Four Seasons, JW Marriotts, Ritz Carltons, insert others here. Great location within 1/2 block of the harbor with numerous restaurants within walking distance. It is an older hotel but the price and location make it an incredible find. We never felt unsafe. And, as a tourist, how much time does one spend in the room anyway? There is a small pool, free parking, free wifi and a refrigerator in the hotel room. What more could I ask for? On my next visit to San Diego, I will not hesitate to book another stay here.

I’ll start by saying this hotel has a great location. We took a nice walk to the beach and there are some bars and restaurants very nearby. That’s where this place really shines. Everything else… not so much. The parking situation is not great. It’s a small and tight lot with only enough parking for one car per room. When we stayed, there were some larger trucks parked in the lot making it impossible to fit into some spots. We were forced to park on a nearby street. The rooms were not well kept. I have used Sea Harbor hotel as a base for my long range fishing trips five times in past years. It is not a five star location but fills my need to be a short distance from the collection points for the fishing boats. The rooms are up to date but not luxurious. Adequate.
