The Santa Maria Inn is a picturesque, quaint, and cozy hotel nestled in the heart of Santa Maria. Stayed here one night. The room was spacious and clean. Also enjoyed a cocktail at the bar in the hotel. The bartender was friendly and made a great cocktail. The only negative was the slight smell of sewage when you entered the lobby of the hotel. However you could not smell it anywhere else in the hotel.

The older section of the hotel, that's been here since 1917 shows it's age a little bit. The rooms are small, and quaint, and the wood floor creaks and leans down the hall just a bit. That isn't too day that it is without charm at all. It's kept up surprisingly well. I'm fact, in all my time here I've noticed the staff cleaning, and painting, and decorating fairly regularly. **Hotel Review** I recently had the opportunity to stay at this charming hotel, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. First and foremost, the ambience is incredible, reminiscent of the quaint places I've visited in England and Ireland. This is a pretty cool place. We went to the wine bar and ate at the restaurant. Both were really good and decently priced. We stayed in the original part of the hotel. The mattress in our room was too firm for me but my wife slept well. The room was in the smaller side which was my only ding. Overall, this was a great choice for a staycation
