We went before Christmas. The hotel was festively decorated for the holiday and played holiday tunes. The dining room had a warm ambiance, the food and service were above average. The rooms were large, clean and stocked. Only downside was the decor...scarcely furnished and incompletely decorated.

Jimmy the general manager is so professional, polite and makes you feel special. He hooked us up with a great room and paid attention to detail. The room was perfect for us. It was large, 2 very clean and comfortable beds and a hot shower. The room was very clean though showing its age. It is history, charming and I would be happy to stay again.

The place was spacious and full of surprises at every corner. There are so many events that are put on at this place, options for places to get good spirits (drinks), great historic items there and the staff are amazing. Thank you Dennis and Jimmy for a great experience, your professionalism and fun conversations. Only thing we found that needed attention was our room door was not in a good condition. Next year our car group (SoCal Celicas) will definitely try to host our event at this gorgeous place.

We held a memorial there for my brother last month and they went above and beyond. They were attentive, helpful, understanding, flexible, caring and they gave great service with a smile. I am thankful to the staff who helped the event turn out beautiful and it was a success because of them. Such a beautiful venue as well. The food was excellent the service was great. Thank you so much! It was much appreciated.

I recently stayed at the Santa Maria Inn for four days and really enjoyed my time here. This hotel has a unique charm that sets it apart—there’s a warmth and welcoming feeling from the moment you step inside. What really stood out to me was the historical character of the property.
