Nice relaxing place! If you’re staying at the Marriott this is by far the best option. Has lots of drink options for those that indulge. I had the whiskey bbq wings and they maybe the best wings I have had in a long time. And coming from a wing guy that says a lot. The burger came as ordered. My waitress TiNasia was spot on and very welcoming. Can’t wait to eat here again!
I generally do not leave negative reviews. I have to be pretty dang aggravated to leave a negative review. I left my first negative review for this restaurant several years ago. I go to the same conference in the hotel here every year, so before I came back this year, I actually called to find out if any changes in management have been made to the Rye bar since my last negative review for them. Ate here before a show because we were starving and had a pretty good experience. Our server did their best to accommodate our small time frame for dining. So we showed up at 7:49 with 6 people to eat with no reservation despite our efforts, and were told it would be 30-45 min. We said no problem and went and sat down in the ... read more
I stopped by the Rye and Southern Bar for happy hour, and it was a solid experience. The atmosphere is laid-back yet vibrant, with a modern Southern vibe that feels welcoming. Pretty good craft cocktails and a solid selection of local beers, which paired nicely with their small plates. The staff was friendly and quick, keeping the drinks flowing even as the place got busy.
