This was my second visit to Red Allen’s Bar & Grill. The outside patio is a beautiful setting with a view of the golf course. I ordered the beef brisket Rueben. It was tender and had nice smoked flavor. It could have used a tad more sauce and sauerkraut for my taste but otherwise was excellent. The sweet potato fries were tasty, but not at all hot. I ordered a side of coleslaw that was fine. Service was very good, pleasant, friendly, and attentive. I like this restaurant and will certainly come back again.
Local joint in the heart of Litchfield Park with great views of the golf course out on the patio, and good people watching. The food is good, and they have a reasonable draft beer selection. I recommend a reservation if you're coming for the weekend brunch or if you want the patio. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
Food was incredible… service, amazing. Atmosphere was actually decent as we sat at the bar and our bartender Lori was moving! Didn’t stop for a moment and was hustling! I would’ve give 5 stars to Lori alone…. But there was a waitress that totally ruined it for us. She was rude to the bartender, very demanding, condescending….just awful. Was there for happy hour on National Margarita Day, they didn't have any major specials for happy hour, you just get $2 off the drinks. I had the nachos, which were really good. My friend had the chicken chopped salad and it did not look or taste good, so she ordered hot wings instead and those were good. The best part of the restaurant is the views. It's on the Wigwam gold resort so it has a resort patio tupe of feeling. They have tables with a fireplace to keep warm when it's colder. The ambiance is very nice!
My wife and I moved to the area about a year and a half ago and finally checked out Red's about a month back. We loved the patio instantly and the food was extremely good (try the mushroom burger... it's phenomenal). We swore to go back and decided to go for lunch and a couple of beers today for my birthday (of all the places we've been to I just wanted to hang out there for lunch on my 51st...
