Dana was fantastic. She had great energy and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She made check-in an enjoyable experience. The tea selection was great and it was nice they kept the juice and water machine running in the evening. The rooms were pretty standard and were clean. The hotel is a nice location on the water and an easy walk across the bridge to bars and restaurants in Houghton. Towels are thin and uncomfortable. Wonderful stay here. Everything was excellent - the room was very nice, clean and the beds very comfortable. There were two clerks working the evening we checked in and they were both very personable, helpful and professional. They gave us a very good first impression! The breakfast was very nice. Lots of variety and once again, the staff was so friendly and helpful. And the location was excellent. After we got settled we sat outside by the water and enjoyed the view! I had a wonderful stay at Ramada Hotel on the Water Front, Houghton, Michigan. I actually stop by for one night. I was here on business. It was so beautiful and peaceful and the staff was so friendly, I ended up saying another night. I was also quite impressed with how clean and neat the rooms were, l like that! Good clean rooms. The bath tub had friction strips for safety and the toilet was raised decently for ease on the old knees. Breakfast was a 5 out of 10. Not much in the way of healthy offerings. The breakfast room attendant was very helpful and accommodating.

The staff that was here when I arrived was so helpful, Brandi I think was her name went over and above to help me out, I am from Wisconsin and my vehicle broke down, she recommended a repair shop for me to take my vehicle to. 5 stars to her for customer service. Rooms are very nice all clean and fresh, if staying in Houghton anytime soon I will be staying here.
