This has been our go to place in Gettysburg for as many years as I can remember. As others have indicated the prime attraction to this particular property is its close proximity to the battlefield. The pool in the courtyard area was just redone a couple years ago and although tends to be cool if it’s not the summer months is very nice. The best part about this hotel is the location. It is walking distance to downtown and also easy accessible via the bike trails. If you are planning to bike the trails, this location is perfect. We also liked how affordable it was, it included breakfast and had a small pool which was perfect for traveling with kids. Their breakfast is buffet style and good enough but the house where breakfast is served has limited seating for the size of the hotel. The hotel was very clean, housekeeping did an excellent job every day (always had fresh towels, counters clean, garbage emptied), breakfast was wonderful (eggs, sausage, waffles, bread, bagels, english muffins). Breakfast room staff was extraordinarily friendly. The hotel was in close proximity to the Gettysburg Battlefield and Visitor Center, along with other sites/museums and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay - was a last minute trip & was recommended by a friend who had stayed there. I wish I had more time to spend here. Great helpful staff, comfortable beds cute breakfast cottage & I wished I had the energy to go to the bar there too. Long trip and I had needed sleep instead. Also the pool looked great too!

It’s a quality inn the rooms are just basic. However I did have a great view of a battlefield . Not being disrespectful in any way but nobody knows who the soldiers are that died in that war and their graves are all over the place and pretty much forgotten about And that bloody war fought on our own soil was for what ???
