The best part about this hotel is the location. It is walking distance to downtown and also easy accessible via the bike trails. If you are planning to bike the trails, this location is perfect. We also liked how affordable it was, it included breakfast and had a small pool which was perfect for traveling with kids. Their breakfast is buffet style and good enough but the house where breakfast is served has limited seating for the size of the hotel. This hotel is at 4.5 for me. We actually loved the stay. We had our two dogs and it was great how they had a nice green area. The room was spacious and clean. My issue is the toilet in our room. You have to hold the flusher down the whole time. We let the front desk know when we checked out about it and she was a little cranky. However, housekeeping and the breakfast attendant were absolutely amazing and friendly. Location was stellar. You can walk downtown provided you dont have any physical limitations.
Wonderful place to stay - was a last minute trip & was recommended by a friend who had stayed there. I wish I had more time to spend here. Great helpful staff, comfortable beds cute breakfast cottage & I wished I had the energy to go to the bar there too. Long trip and I had needed sleep instead. Also the pool looked great too!
I must say I am impressed with our room for our short stay in Gettysburg. My husband took the reins on booking and to my surprise our room is exceptionally clean and the king bed very comfortable. The AC system is great, and you can’t beat the location. Would stay here again. My photos have our things already in them, but spacious and clean. The outside hotel stairs could use some tending to-- and the outdoor pool makes this place worth it, clean towels available in pool area which was nice.
Excellent location about 15 minute walk to town center 2 minute walk to natl cemetery and 2 minute drive to start of audio car tour f battlefields. Rooms were spacious with fridge and microwave lots of charging stations ,indoor pool and free breakfast that s nothing to rave about but will do the job
