We stayed almost a month at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, right in front of the beach, and the room has a beautiful view. It is also close to restaurants and markets. The bed is comfortable, the room is spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. There is free parking, and the service is excellent. The hotel also has laundry facilities, a pool, and there is always complimentary black coffee available at the reception. We will definitely come back!

What a fantastic location! You're truly one minute from the beach and surrounded by cafés, bars, and restaurants. It feels like coastal travel at its best. The great: Freshly renovated rooms, charming coastal décor with plantation shutters, and a new bathroom that feels clean and modern. There is plenty of parking, the staff are friendly, and the overall environment feels clean and safe. For the price, it is an impressive value. Seriously, do not book a room here. If you do, there might not be a spot left for me next time. Here is why you should definitely "avoid" it: The views are too good: You’ll spend your whole trip staring at the Pacific instead of checking your emails. The beds are dangerous: They are so comfortable you will sleep through your alarm and miss your morning run. I had the most wonderful stay at Pacific Shores Inn! I got a partial ocean view room, and could see the water from the comfort of my bed each morning. The staff members were kind and welcoming. Their sister property, PB Surf Inn, refilled my water bottle each day which was convenient. There are yoga classes at Palisades park just a quick walk away - 9am Tues/Thurs and more times via PBsunsetyoga on Instagram. This place was just what we needed for a long weekend to San Diego! We arrived on a Saturday and there were definitely some parties going on, so just something to be mindful if you want a quieter environment. But the location just cannot be beat; you're a 2 minute walk to the beach and lovely walks along the beachside sidewalk.
