What a fantastic location! You're truly one minute from the beach and surrounded by cafés, bars, and restaurants. It feels like coastal travel at its best. The great: Freshly renovated rooms, charming coastal décor with plantation shutters, and a new bathroom that feels clean and modern. The location of this place is GREAT!! you walk a few steps out and you can be right there on the ocean. It is very reasonably priced, but because of this, you will sacrifice a good night's sleep. The beds are pretty bad and the pillows are ao flat, it's like not having one. The walls are also VERY thin. You can hear the pipes or hear something with loud noises throughout the night. The room is clean and is very cute. If the beds and pillows were better, this would have been a perfrct 5 stars! Staff is friendly and helpful.

The location was perfect. A walk across the parking lot and you're right at the beach. Plus walking distance from lots of restaurants. The inn is quaint, but the bathroom needs a couple of fixes -- replace the toilet seat and pour some rust cleaner down the pipes that had a smell coming from it. The plug-in air freshener in the room and placing a cap over the sink drain was a temporary fix so it didn't really impact my stay. But I could see it being a problem for someone else who might be more particular than me.

The rooms were awful and dirty. They are old and they smell. The walls and the interior were both old and dirty. There was hair in the fridge, the microwave, and the bed sheets. Not only is the old rooms a problem but housekeeping is obviously an issue as well. In the parking lot there was a barefoot man that would harass us when walking to our car. The Pacific Shores Inn was a great, relaxing, and affordable place to stay. The location was perfect, as you are less than a block away from the beach! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool was nice. Our room was basic and had a table and chairs in it, and we had a view of the ocean from the windows, which was lovely. Shower could have had more pressure. Overall great experience and would stay here again!
