It was a waste of time. Went in with sole purpose of opening a checking account to get checks. Downloaded the app and received a debit card and was told I had to order checks so I said lets do it. After all that yvonne told me you have to be a member for 30 days before you can do that. She knew what I was looking to do and absolutely lied right to my face. One Nevada Credit Union is probably the best bank I have ever dealt with. When my husband passed away four years ago, there were a lot of financial issues to deal with. They were so kind and caring and went above and beyond the normal service one might receive in a financial institution. I have NEVER experienced anything remotely negative with them. This credit Union offers checking to auto and housing loans. The staff is always friendly and attentive and the wait time is very minimal. BETTER than conventional Banks.
Would not recommend. There was a fraudulent charge in my account and they asked me to get my phone professionally inspected and then locked my account. They wanted me to pay someone, everyone I went to said they never heard of that and it wasn’t going to be cheap. It was a ridiculous request just to access my account, having to pay money out of my pocket to have my phone inspected. Has anyone ever heard of that.
