This bank is one of the worst financial institutions out there. Five years ago, I finished paying off a car I bought from a dealership, and this bank financed it. Over time, I had some financial problems with my family and fell behind on payments, but I never stopped paying. From then until now (June 1, 2026), they have been reporting me to the credit bureau every month that I'm a bad payer, even though I never owed them anything and I paid them everything.

At this Williamsburg location, James R. provides excellent customer service. He has great qualities, and I would recommend as management. But I know what often happens to those who go into management, and I would hate to see him change.

I manage a local shop. This is where our business account is. It was a bit daunting to come and make large deposits, getting change, etc at first, but Keisha and James are both very professional and patient with me every time. Thank you always for your kindness!

I have been banking at Old Point Bank both commercially and personally well over 20 years. My experience has been very positive primarily due to the service I’ve received from staff and management through the years. Rita Thomas in particular has quickly addressed issues that seemed difficult for others and is always ready to provide options and advice regarding loans and accounts. She represents the bank in a very professional manner while keeping the “Home Town” bank relationship that the national banks strive for. She is ... read more

I have banked with Old Point National Bank since the Williamsburg branch opened. When I started my business relationship there Yowanda was a teller and now is a branch manager. I have always enjoyed the entire staff. Always professional and polite.
