I’ve been the treasurer at two churches for a combined 22 years. I moved accounts for the first church from Sun Trust to Old Point National because fees were hundreds of dollars per year. Sun Trust didn’t have any lower cost options. Old Point did; significantly lower. The second church was a start up and Old Point was our natural go-to bank because of my familiarity with them. I’ve been banking at old point national Bank for over 30 years. Sorry to see them go. I am also sorry that we no longer have A drive through window that is open on Saturdays.

They charge 7.00 monthly to have account. 1.00 for every debt card use when putting in pin #. And block cards for no reason. Lousy Bank. Don’t go there. Switched to Langley

They lock my account and will not unlock it. I am active military and they tell me I HAVE to come in. How am k support to come in when I don't live in the state anymore. I have no money because they cut my bank account off so I can't get anything that I need. Thank old point national bank you the worst bank for military soldiers and there family's. I love Old Point! I have never had better customer service and I’ve lived in 3 different states. Old Point calls you by name, they take as much time as needed to answer question and explain everything. Even offered to help set up on line banking. No other bank for me!
