Had a lovely stay. Went on a family vacation, and I won't pretend the place was in immaculate shape, but everything was clean, the pool was warm and comfortable, and we had a cool double balcony. The location is absolutely perfect. They have their own beach, but you could also walk to several public beaches nearby. There is also a ton to do in the area. Every single staff member I had an interaction with was kind and helpful. Would stay here again!

Stay away! Couldn’t check in as my son in law made the reservation for us but he wasn’t with us. Needed 1 night for a wedding with daughter and grandchild. Had to get a shower in their public bathroom. No towel, soap on far wall from shower and no shampoo! Tried to check in early and although they saw the reservation, merely said we had to wait until 4 and nothing more. Came back then and they said we couldn’t check in at all! Manager was not helpful! Make sure you read the available amenities. The front desk doesn’t tell you what great things they have. If you are going here for the pool or hot tub move on. They were both gross and it was a warm tub not a hot tub. They need more attention from the staff. There weren’t any towels out either. We had to go to the front desk to get some. Being by the beach is nice but there is a free park next to it that could be enjoyed if you stay somewhere cheaper. The interior of the room was nice and updated. My family and I came to The Ocean Mist for 10+ nights.. we even changed rooms to be able to extend our stay last minute.. The housekeeping manger, rude, rude, rude. He walks around the property like he owns the place and rushed my mom out FIVE minutes after checkout (as she was putting our bags in the hallway).. Clyanneke at the front desk is AMAZING!!
