Rooms are nice with beautiful views of the ocean. The bathroom could be a bit cleaner. The front desk will definitely let you know that check in is at 4pm. I've always had no issues checking in early, especially off season, but not here. We won't be giving them our business again. Edit: when we arrived early, by 3pm, we asked if there were any rooms ready. Really a motel, not a hotel. Ice vending machine was missing, great staff, very accommodating, parking needs help, they should assign each rental one spot, and then have overflow parking. I could not even get a spot in the lot of my building, had to lug stuff in nor'easter storm to my unit. Location was perfect and again, could not ask for more accommodating staff.

Just got back from a trip here and I'm not typically one to leave reviews but this place has enough negative ones I thought I'd help em out a bit and set the record straight. I personally stayed in an "ocean view" loft room with my fiance and her son. The listings were very specific that there were both "ocean view" and "ocean front". Although I can't speak personally for every room, I think despite some reviews claiming you can "only view the ocean on the balcony on your tiptoes" were quite exaggerated. I have stayed on every property on South Shore Drive multiple times for years. This was the absolute worst hotel I've stayed at. For one night at about $600 dollars, I stayed alone with my several young children in the loft suite. Checkin isn't until 4pm and it was windy and a little chilly so we checked out the indoor pool but the water was freezing and there was a soggy RUG surrounding the pool that sloshed and smelled of mold. We had a room with a loft on the beach. RM 201 is on the 2nd and 3rd floor with 2 queen beds downstairs and a fold out queen sofa upstairs. Room was refreshed. Bathroom was fine water pressure in the shower was unusually good. Kitchen area was a little small could use a coffee nook table. The coffee maker was on a tray on the cook top. Had a table with 4 chairs. Maybe a bigger table with 6 chairs in case you had a full house. We had 5. Ordered Doordash one night at a nearby pizza place didn't have enough seats in the room.
