Our stay at Mountain Lake Lodge was amazing. The kids loved hiking around the property. We took a Gator tour with Bo to Bald Knob. He was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed it very much. We ate a meal or had drinks at every place open. Every thing was delicious. We did come because Dirty Dancing was filmed here. But the property is so much more!
If you’re a true fan of the movie and crave the nostalgia, this place is undeniably magical. Let’s start with the highlights: the staff goes above and beyond—friendly, accommodating, and genuinely helpful. Their pet-friendly policy is also a big plus. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mountain Lake Lodge as part of a wedding party, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The setting is stunning—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for such a special occasion. Joanna at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly for us. We visited Mountain Lake Lodge as day visitors and didn’t stay overnight, but we were impressed by the beautiful stone lodge and its stunning location. We took a short, easy trail near the lodge and spent some time simply relaxing and taking in the peaceful surroundings. While we didn’t explore much, I really appreciated the silence, natural beauty, and the calming atmosphere of the area. A lovely spot to unwind and enjoy nature.
We stayed at Baby’s Cabin and we have loved every moment at the Mountain Lake Lodge. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. We definitely are going to be back. Joanna was amazing and went above and beyond. Thank you so much! Pamela & Ewa
