I was staying in the area and decided to stop in for dinner — so glad I did! The restaurant wasn’t busy, which made for a quiet and relaxing dining experience. The bar area looked great, but I was seated in a comfortable booth. My server was very friendly and made some excellent recommendations from the happy hour menu. I came here on a Wednesday night, and it was very quiet (just how I like it). I was with a small group, and we all enjoyed everything ordered. One person ordered a drink that had a chicken nugget with it! I had to take a picture to show everyone how cute it was. We enjoyed our anniversary dinner here, we have had it in the past and everything has been delicious! I think Oggie’s is a great place for a simple, delicious meals. There are enough options to not feel overwhelmed and everything is chef created. We enjoyed some delicious burrata with some pesto and toast for an appetizer, and some steak for dinner. One of the best Restaurant we've eating at in years. The service was excellent. The food was excellent and every tasteful. The 4.9 rating is an under rating. It need to be 5.9. If you are near downtown Milwaukee its a go to. Thank you for a great experience.
Went for lunch on quiet Sunday. Only folks in there and the staff consistently forgot one guest's drinks and food. The food itself was fine, not that good but better than fast food. If it's the only spot you got, it'll be serviceable for the time, but I wouldn't seek this place out again. (Also has a "B" food sanitation rating = yikes)
