I really enjoyed my stay and have no complaints. The hotel is a bit farther from the Mall of America than I would prefer (about a 10–15 minute drive), but it allows for some sightseeing along the way. The nearby construction can be a little confusing if you’re not familiar with the area, but it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, the experience was very good. The hotel is small but very nice and very clean, the bed was very comfy and the pillows are very plushy. Nonetheless, we were surprised to notice that the bathroom had no fan to extract the steam or the bad odors, a real downside. Also, the breakfast time is too short, only from 6:30 am to 9:30 am and it'd be nice if you can extend it to 10:00 am. The cook adds too much flour in the eggs and that makes them taste too bland. First time staying at this hotel. It is a medium-sized facility, conveniently located off the highway. The layout is pretty typical, with the front desk and a single elevator right there. The lobby is small, but there are some seating areas down the hall by the vending machines. There is a free breakfast with very spacious seating areas that they open for that. 1st off, no one told us about the road construction so we had to do a super long detour to get to the hotel as the exit was closed. Upon checking in we had to wait a few minutes as no one at the desk. The girl was friendly, but when I asked how the restaurant next door was, she said good..then added in that she hasn't eaten there because she can't afford it and said "I'd love to have a burger". Guilt trip to get a guest to buy her one? My husband actually thought of doing it but she wasn't at the desk again when we went out!... read more

The overnight front desk agent was very accommodating. I wish I remembered her name but I got in early from my flight and she was able to find me a room for early check in. I paid an extra fee but it was worth it. They have a decent continental breakfast, which is not so common anymore. The room was very clean and the mattress was comfortable I had a great nights sleep! I would definitely return to this property.
