Epic date night with Mrs V! I discovered Litchfield’s Restaurant located in Litchfield Park, AZ nestled inside the Wigwam Resort after an exhausting Google search while attempting to discover elevated dining in the West Valley. First things first. I’d requested a very romantic isolated booth when I called for reservations on Thursday. Kudos to our hostess, we couldn’t have asked for a more secluded location. The presentation of our shared app and entrees was impressive, and the food was extraordinarily delicious! The decor a... read more
This is my assessment on the exciting, new brunch offered at Litchfield's! I couldn't get in the first week as all reservations were taken. We got in the second week. We started off with the pork belly and bacon appetizer dish. The sauces were outstanding and complemented the pork items perfectly. The crab Benedict was everything we expected. We also tried the ahi tuna on a bed of Jasmine rice. The first bite was heavenly and it kept going. Definitely did not lack any flavor! The portions of the huevos rancheros is less than... read more
We celebrated our anniversary at Litchfield’s, and it was exactly what we hoped for. The atmosphere felt calm and intimate without being stuffy. Perfect for a special night. The service was attentive but never overbearing. They paced the meal well and made us feel genuinely welcomed, not rushed. Every dish was thoughtful and well prepared. Great flavors, clean presentation, and portions that made sense. You can tell the kitchen cares about what they’re putting out. If you’re looking for a place that feels special for an a... read more
Finding the restaurant in the resort is a bit difficult but once you find it, it's worth the trek. The crab cake was some of the best I've had in ages, the seasoning and sauces were great with it. The buffalo filet was amazing, definitely the best plate of the night. The shrimp was ok, I'm just not a big fan of jumbo shrimp without a sauce of some sorts. The mac and cheese was good, not too cheesy, which I liked. And the tiramisu was great, not overly sweet.
We were excited to try Litchfield’s, and the reviews were good, but we were more impressed than we even imagined we would be! Highly recommend this enchanting spot. Great for a date night and a special celebration. Amazing food, drinks, and impeccable service from the whole team. We’re already planning a return for an upcoming dinner date with friends!
