Great place to stay that is dog friendly. Clean, well kept and super nice staff. Breakfast buffet was great! Being next to the cemetery wasn't a big deal but could be for some. We were in a downstairs suite and it was perfect for family. There were no screens on our sliders so we couldn't open up to that lovely coastal breeze without our dog wondering out. I especially loved the breakfast! Anne was amazing!. The food was very good definitely better than a holiday In breakfast. We stayed in a junior cottage. I loved the vaulted ceiling, jacuzzi tub.. The bed was very comfortable as well . The overall style is cabin and traditional. definitely would stay again.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting Pacific Grove. The location is very good. The accommodation was very basic. The room is clean, however, the interior needs some refreshing; it wouldn't take much for it to be more pleasant. The service was nice and very friendly, and they explained everything well. Breakfast is a set: juice, fruit, a muffin, and a granola bar. So, be prepared to arrange breakfast on your own.

A decent enough place, showing its age a bit. We had a cottage room, with a fireplace. Large room, wood flooring, clean. Balcony. The sliding door was wonky and the screen was torn on the bottom pretty good. Like I said, it's and older place showing its age a bit. Water takes a bit of time to get hot in the shower but they tell you that when you check in so no worries .Location is ok, right down the road from the golf course and the ocean. What happened to this place? Are they remodeling or just suffering from neglect? I have stayed here for over 40 years and the place really looks it now. Too bad they also don't keep track of their prior guests. After all this time, a welcome back would have been nice. Although they have replaced the flooring in the cottages, that's about it.
