This place has always been sketchy and even shady clients avoided this place. Now they’re getting a facelift, possibly having been acquired by Orange Grove Inn. Today I saw the building next to the restaurant losing its “Key” name and being replaced by a fresher name. From the street, it appears refurbishments are ongoing.

Hi, may I ask what is currently going on with this motel? Has it been taken down or is it in the process of getting taken down? When will it be open again? Any information you can give me would be great.

For the price and its location near Santa Ana (John Wayne) Airport and Oak Canyon Park for the Punk in the Park festival, it’s a good choice. The rooms were cleaned daily, and we even enjoyed the pool. Uber Eats delivered to our room quickly, adding to the convenience. Overall, it was a great experience.

I've stayed at this hotel once a week for the past 5 months because of travel and school. Every single week I am disappointed. The shower heads are trash, the drains smell, the tvs don't work, the phones don't work, sometimes the AC doesn't work. I only stay here because I'm to broke to afford a 100+ night stay. If you have to stay here for a while, it's fine because it's so cheap. If you're here on vacation, maybe you got a couple Ilof kidd and you're trying to save some cash, NOT WORTH IT. The Hotel is right next to the highway so if you plan on getting any sleep, this is not the place to stay at. I was up most of the night with loud motorcycles racing, cars, trucks, car races, accidents and emergency vehicles with sirens blasting. The staff was ok. The room itself is ok but if you are expecting something like Best Western, or the Marriot, this is not it. Parking is not adequate.
