We came in late so we were grateful to see that we were able to grab a couple of things to eat here. I wasn't that hungry, but my husband saw the brick oven for pizza and i liked the layout and atmosphere. It is right in the hotel, so I was able to bring my drink back to the room. Stopped in to grab a bite to eat before a concert. We sat at the bar which wasn't super busy but the service to start was a little slow. We order drinks, which they were out of a lot of draft beer. We got the meatball, yes be for warned you only get 1 meatball for 14 dollars but it was delicious. Then ordered pizza which was also very good.
Not just a hotel restaurant! It’s a great restaurant that just happens to be attached to a Sheraton downtown Raleigh! Great Italian cuisine at affordable prices! We made reservations for a Tuesday, not sure how busy it gets on weekends. Food was great, staff was fantastic, and the Turtle Cheesecake was superb! The food was very good. Thought we’d share a small salad but it was huge, with the best croutons. The spaghetti and meatball was VERY generous as was the chicken parm. Best marinara we’ve had in a long time. Daisy took very good care of us without feeling like she was hovering. Will definitely look forward to going back!
We just had the meatball appetizer and a beer, so I can't give a full review until we have an entree. Being an large open space it is sort of cold inside on Thanksgiving weekend, but they had just opened. The meatballs were good, service friendly, and we like the openness of the space.
