Camped at one of the RV spots. - As we entered the park was it was very spread out. We have done 2 other Jellystones and they were very close quartered. Not the worst thing. - They didn't have a whole lot of activities going on. Usually there are things to do for kids but it was a struggle to find any. - THE TRAIN! The park is right next to live train tracks. Our first night there a train came by every hour blowing it's horn and rattling our camper. - There are only 2 showers to use. Traveling across the country came across what sounded like a fun place. Plus family was close and could have dinner with them. Arrived at 130 and was told park was staying open until 8 Left to have dinner with family and got back at 6 only to be told they were closing down. If people pay to have a place to swim until 8 that should be honored. Will not recommend this place at all!!!!
When we booked, we thought is something like they have in Dallas, Tex. It is not. It is a nice small city park. It is next to railroad, so you will hear trains a lot. We got unlucky with weather, it rained, so the lake was tot very appealing to swim in, they have outdoor pool, jumping pillow, mini golf. We went with kids who is 2 and 6 and they had fun. Me and my significant other went to yogis today and we were laying on the highest cliff on the lake and when we decided to leave we got called up and got a accused of sexual activity when we were laying next to each other. We couldn’t even tell them what actually happened or explain our side without them threatening to call the cops. So then we were forced to leave.
Love the room but the door frames were really love for someone my size. Had the bump on my head to prove it LOL!
