Not a good place to stay other than for the location. We stayed for two nights in two rooms that were both dingy and dirty. Upon arriving, our bathroom was unclean with paper left in the shower drain and hairs on the floor, and the refrigerator had hair and dirt in it. Curtains were old and stained. The pillows were lumpy and discolored. I asked at the front desk for replacement pillows but they never arrived. We will look for another option the next time we are in Falmouth.

The Inn on the Square has an excellent location, rustic charm, and a cozy atmosphere that reflects the character of a seaside village. The bed was comfortable and the onsite restaurant, Persy’s Place, offered good food and attentive service. That being said, the overall experience fell short of expectations due to management and staffing issues. We stayed in the cottage on the back side to help quiet the traffic sounds and that worked out well. Nice people. Old house, but the rooms were updated to be like hotel rooms. All in all a very good stay.

Such a charming hotel in an excellent location! We stayed for 3 days and loved having shops right across the street. There’s a great coffee spot and a bike rental shop nearby, plus it’s right next to Perseys Place, a restaurant open from 7–3. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool was wonderful. We truly enjoyed our stay, highly recommend it, and will definitely be coming back!

Lovely stay this weekend with my daughters. Received exceptional customer service from Allison who went above and beyond to answer any questions we had. This lodging is convenient to everything in Falmouth downtown /Woods Hole and all Upper Cape, yet in a serene, well-landscaped setting. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated Percy’s Diner being accessible from the lobby for breakfast. We’ll definitely stay again!
