I initially booked the partial view bay room not realizing your facing the parking lot and the lower building in front, the photos while booking are misleading for the partial view. You don’t see much of the bay at all, and mostly of the parking lot and the front building. When we checked in we asked if we can upgrade and were told there were no bay view rooms available. We enjoyed our stay and loved how dog friendly and clean everything was. The restaurant has great food and Tracey and Cindy made our time enjoyable. Fun vibe and yummy drinks. Next time when it’s not raining we’ll rent the bikes and enjoy more of town.

Whether or not your coastal getaway involves the adjacent Black Hill golf course, this hotel gives the full Morro Bay experience without the bustle of being IN the tourist-shop district. House restaurant has nice views and a solid food+drink lineup. The ocean-view rooms are worth the upgrade. Furnishings are a touch rustic, which could be seen as part of the charm.
Beautiful property and view, but the rooms were so dirty!! There was soda or something all over the walls, hair all over the bathroom floor, like a inch of hair and dust under the fold out couch, food exploded all over the microwave, smears all over the windows. I think it was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. We had rented 3 rooms and they were all dirty.
