I have been a customer for over 38 years with IBC. I called on Friday to request a simple increase of $2000 dollars for an out of state transaction on my debit card. After answering 6 security questions properly and a 30 minute wait, I was informed that I am not on my own account. They denied my request. My wife goes in to the local branch and they say everything is fine. this bank has gone completely downhill. There are snotty young bank representatives that are rude and under zero supervision. Well well this bank has an unpleasant odor of dirty butt. That's a good place for a febreze plug-in. I've walked in there twice and I've not heard a good afternoon or good morning welcome to IBC, and I've been banking with IBC for 24 years now and they do run a bit tediously slow with only one teller at the window and handling people in the line inside the bank. Entered at 3:15 - we got called on at 3:25 and it’s now 4:17. My bf just wanted to open an account. Honestly, I dumb for waiting more than 20 min.
Employees are rude and the bank takes forever to process a deposit. Waited for 45 min to be told they couldn’t verify a check even though they called the business and they did verify the check.
I was referred to IBC from a close friend several years ago. My 1st thought was no way. I was used to dealing with well known banks. My thoughts quickly changed when I discovered they are open 7 days a week. My husband works 6 days a week 11hour shifts and Sunday is the only day we have to take care of business. Since IBC is open on Sunday it makes our life easier. I give them a five star for more than that. They are trying to up hold the old way/ feeling of knowing your banker/ teller and having a good relationship.... read more
