I'm amazed at how many bad reviews there are and this branch is still horrible. Upper management really needs to step in and revamp. My latest and last experience was with a manager who was very rude, kept cutting me off and felt like I knew how this banking business worked. JENNIFER is her name and when I asked to speak with her supervisor she did not let me. She was extremely rude and I am amazed that she has a position like this. Terrible customer service back in March 2025! Never going back to that bank only one who was courteous and prompt was Dario …the rest completely unprofessional and it took a call to corporate from my husband to make them attend to my banking needs when I had already been stuck there for almost 2 hrs! San Marcos IBC is now my bank never had an issue with all my recent transactions !

I went on 06/03/25 around 10 am and the teller was very rude. She had an attitude during the whole transaction and made some rude comments towards me. She was really unprofessional and appeared to be in a rush so she can continue her conversation with her coworkers.

I have had 2 accts here for about 2 years and they hold the funds for all my checks for atleast days or even weeks. Checks that I have gotten from the same business for atleast 20 times over the last 2 years this bank still held for almost 2 weeks just recently.

This was my first time opening up an account with IBC bank and Gina was very knowledgeable and helped me through the process of opening up my new saving and checking account. She also gave me really good information to apply for a credit card so I will be back for sure!! Very good experience!!
