This is the worst bank I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. My sister’s account was overdrawn for too long because she’s disabled and her entire disability check got rerouted to pay her nursing home bill, so IBC closed the account right before she was supposed to get the check back. Since then, they have repeatedly lied to us and strung us along. They claimed they sent the check back to SSA, only to later admit they pocketed part of it. ATM constantly has issues. Today my husband tried to withdraw $200. The machine never disbursed the cash but the account was charged. He went into the bank and told them what happened and asked for the $200. They refused and said he had to call the atm dispute number. He did and they said it would take 3 days to investigate. My husband has been complaining about the atm issues for the last year or so but the issues persist. Today before he drove up to the atm the overhead light said it was open. App hasn’t been working since the update and the ATM is shut down half the time
Absolutely the worst bank. DO NOT USE IBC BANK Customer service is horrendous. The online banking app will have errors that cost you in over draft fees. More than once my account has shown all charges to be posted, then I have ONE charge come through that will overdraw my account but I will get overdraft fees for charges that cleared the previous day. If this happens more than once in a 6 month period they will not help. Even though my account online STILL shows all charges had previously cleared. They said their system ... read more
