Terrible and lazy customer service. Husband deposited cash through the ATM on Friday afternoon and later he saw that his account was overdrawn, we figured it was just going to take a few hours for the money to be available. Saturday morning the money still wasn't in his account so he called this location and the lady who answered said there was nothing she could do. This branch is the worst customer service compare to other branches. Nobody gives you smile or greeting or asking is there anything else i can do for you! I don’t understand how they were trained. I am very pleased with other branches. I didn’t expect this is how they are. Hope you will improve your customer service.

I applied for a secured personal loan for 90k. I used my 2.5 acre property valued at 120k as collateral. I have a 742 credit score, $9,500 in debt and make 70k a year plus another 1k a month from investments. My account reflects my income. I was denied the loan due to them not accepting land as collateral but instead stated they only accept cars, motorcycles and boats as collateral. I have had an account at IBC for 8 + years, in Weslaco, Texas. Had a document from Hidalgo County Tax office that needed to be notarized, The gentleman who was in his office informed me that IBC had not renewed any of the Notary licenses in Edinburg. That the only IBC, he knew of that could notarize was the Main IBC bank in McAllen. I wander if it’s the same for Weslaco and elsewhere. If it’s true, then IBC is not a full service bank anymore. I usually use the IBC inside the Walmart because it is more convenient for me and the customer service is superb. Consequently, the one time I did use the IBC location on Closner , I had a bad experience 2 yrs ago. Nonetheless, I had to use the location once again due to the area I was going too... hoping that it had been a one time thing previously.
