Issues started at checkin. Amenities were not explained but just handed a sheet of paper. Rooms need to be renovated. Was in one of their suites and the AC control is difficult to adjust; AC takes couple of hours to cool down and thermostat temp does not correspond to the room temp; No hangers in the room; Trash doesn’t get taken out several times even though housekeeping is every day; Lounge breakfast in the Regency club is average compared to other HR hotels.
Our church held a conference there this week and the staff; from front, setup, food to management was OUTSTANDING! Mr. Ernst Thomas rolled out the red carpet and went above and beyond. I couldn't be more pleased. I have 4 stars for location because of the Atlanta traffic getting to it but that was a small price to pay. I even brought my pup and they had special walking trails and amenities for her. The rooms need a bit of an upgrade but I was extremely comfortable.
What can I say? Kewuan at the front desk is absolutely amazing! Hyatt had a computer issue and as a weary traveler who needed her bed- I was tired. I was forced to use a third party site to book and it wasn’t transferring to Hyatt because of said issue. Not only was Kewaun amazing but kept me sane while we were forced to wait for technology to catch up with my tiredness. He made sure I had Ana amazing room and was all checked in- super fast. The rooms are nice enough. However, ours had a slight mildew smell. It's one of those smells that you notice when you enter the room, then not so much after a couple of hours. So we didn't complain. We selected the featherless bedding option when booking on the Hyatt website, but our room came with feather bedding anyway. They did not offer to change the room. Instead, they had housekeeping bring the change of bedding so we could change it ourselves. If you have a feather allergy, handling the feather bedding isn't ideal. ... read more
I have been coming here for years and it was always beautiful and warm. This year was my visit was the most unpleasant. The room I paid for was apparently not available. They never called to move me. Then They lost my package, didn’t seem to care. When I called the reception one of the ladies place the phone on hold and never came back. I went down and found the women casually chatting in the inner room. When confronted they lashed out. I never saw my package.
