We had a great stay at this hotel. We checked in around 5pm yesterday and the man at the desk (I’ve unfortunately forgotten his name) was amazing! He was extremely personable, and funny. He was also fast and thorough. I’d book this hotel again just to be able to talk to him for a few minutes. Room was on the smaller side, but it was clean and had a comfortable bed. Only 2 downsides to this hotel: the perfume smell of a guest in the lobby (no fault of the hotel or its staff) but wow it was strong and the parking garage bein... read more
Location of the hotel was convenient as it is in walking distance to Wrigley Field, many restaurants and coffee shops which we enjoyed. However, the hotel itself does not have parking, only street parking and a nearby parking structure that is $31 a day which becomes pricy after 3 days. In addition, there are no in and out privileges from the parking structure as you will be charged $31 if you decide to leave during the day. We chose this hotel as it was a cheaper option and in walking distance to Wrigley Field but come to f... read more
We actually got moved to this hotel due to a plumbing issue at another Hilton we were supposed to stay at. When we arrived the team at Versey (Neal!) were so sweet and left us a card and a few treats. We arrived late with an angry toddler so the treats and the smiling faces were much appreciated and needed. So all to say, we didn’t book here originally but it’s a great location and great room with double beds and plenty of room for our toddler bed/slumberpod situation. Thanks!
First off, the parking garage is 400 yards away… that was inconvenient BUT.. the area is very nice and you can walk literally anywhere to get food, shopping, etc done. The room we stayed in was SMALL, super small and had no view. The bathroom was so small, there was hardly any room to stand and the showers water pressure struggled. This is an older building and the decor and vibe they have brought to it is very nice! I would recommend staying here if you plan to go to a Cubs game.
Been here several times over the past few years, latest visit April 2025. Overall well kept considering it is an older building. Rooms are clean if not fully updated. Unique decor and funky vibe may not appeal to some but I like it (elevator pic is a good example). Staff is always friendly and accommodating with me. Parking can occasionally be a challenge but I've had good luck parking on the street very close by for free (before 8am).
