The only thing consistent about this hotel is being disappointed. I stay here frequently for work and wish this hotel could get up to par with other Autograph properties. Every time I stay here something is broken in the room, last time no tv, no internet and no phones for two days. This past summer the air conditioning didn’t work during several stays. What a lovely hotel this is, right in the heart of EP downtown. We had an overnight here on a recent road trip, specifically selecting due to them being big dog friendly. From the moment we pulled up we found the staff here to be so warm and welcoming... Valet team, front desk and housekeeping! We had a nice large room on the 16th floor and it gave us a view across the downtown area. The room was clean, comfortable with great sleep quality. Hotel Paso Del Norte is absolutely stunning! The building is full of history and has been beautifully restored, with the stained-glass dome being a real highlight. The rooms are elegant, clean, and comfortable, and the location downtown makes it easy to explore El Paso on foot. The staff truly make the stay special—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Dining at the hotel is also a treat, especially at Sabor where the food and atmosphere are excellent. Loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. Room 1302 echos every ping of the elevator as it passes by every floor during the day. Room 921 is directly under the night club on the 10th floor so the ceiling pulsates with music and you can hear people scream talking. Room 1602 still has music and hot rod mufflers blaring in through the windows. For example, the attached photo is from the window in room 1602, overlooking the night club terrace.
