Gorgeous historic architecture meets excellent modern hospitality at this beautifully restored downtown El Paso gem. The service was outstanding from check-in to checkout, with friendly and attentive staff throughout. We were even greeted with Champaign! Amazing Hotel in an amazing location offering up amazing service!!! What else can I say, the service in the multiple restaurants within the hotel was amazing and the workers made the stay that much more enjoyable. At Sabor, Alejandra was amazing and full of good energ. At Dulce, Michelle was awesome and very accommodating and fun. The location right in downtown is amazing with shopping, restaurants and plazas to walk around and enjoy that are lite up at night. Amazing experience all around.
This classic hotel has been modernized, but still has many great decorative features inside. I was welcomed by staff with a glass of sparking wine and the personnel were great. The rooms were good sized and clean. The bedding was comfortable and the bathroom with walk in shower was good sized. I have only two complaints: 1) the room lighting was dim (one over-door light, small desk lamp, and bed lamps). What a lovely hotel this is, right in the heart of EP downtown. We had an overnight here on a recent road trip, specifically selecting due to them being big dog friendly. From the moment we pulled up we found the staff here to be so warm and welcoming... Valet team, front desk and housekeeping! Location is great! Views from the rooftop are great but that’s about it. Service was horrible not accommodating at all. Couldn’t get the room phone to work the entire time. Kept being bounced back and forth between room service and operator just to get syrup had to go down to get it ourselves eventually. Leaking shower the entire time made a mess in the bathroom.
