Perfect meal all of the way around. The place is warm and cozy, and the food is delicious. The bannock came with this butter that my wife kept eating after the bannock was all gone... We had bannock, wings, elk poutine, burger/fries, and chicken cordon bleu. The only criticism I have for the whole night was that the salt and pepper wings didn't have nearly enough salt or pepper, and we had to use shakers to supplement it. Everything else was amazing though, so I still give it a 5 on food.
From the point of booking the reservation to finishing dinner, we had an exceptional experience! The atmosphere with the fireplace was warm and welcoming. The menu was nicely set with interesting and different choices, our meals were delightful. The service from the hostess and servers, to the kitchen staff in the open concept kitchen gave a feeling of family and warmth. We will definitely be returning & recommend Homefire Grill. Had supper here on October 3/25 and had the Sirloin steak supper and my wife had the steak sandwich and everything was perfect. The starter Caesar salad and bannock were totally awesome and our waitress Nicole went above and beyond to with the customer service! Walking into Homefire the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. We were greeted right away by our server, no wait time went at 3:40pm for an early supper. Sat down was served right away, our server was very friendly young blonde lady. She was very informative and good at what she does. I’ve been to this restaurant 4 times now and everything I’ve tried has been delicious and they give good size portions too! The service here is friendly and efficient. The prices are reasonable.
