We spent 6 nights as we did 4 years ago. It's my husband's birthday weekend & a great excursion. The front desk is welcoming and Danielle was a delight. Very helpful & accommodating. The tall gentleman with white hair was also very helpful. The staff seem to work well together. We had dinner Monday, bingo music night and the server was so friendly & attentive. Holiday Inn Resort Oceanfront @ Surfside was good for the price I paid. I am an Hilton Honors member and I quickly could tell the difference in quality and comfort. I came down for a timeshare tour and received a 3 nights and 4 day stay for $249. The hotel had a nice bar and restaurant with live music every evening. The pool and hot tub did not look like the photos, they were both dirty and the area needed to be renovated. The room service was good, they came daily and offered to clean. I only stayed one night but it was the best hotel stay ever. From being able to check in couple hours early, finding parking right in front of the hotel, having an oceanfront room under $200, direct beach access from the pool, dinner by the ocean, mocktails from the bar and sitting by the fire pit at night watching the pink moon rising over the ocean, everything was perfect and the staff was very accommodating. We’ve had excellent service here. Danielle was incredibly friendly and helpful at the front desk last night, even in the crush of several people with requests at the same time! Then at breakfast Annette and Terri provided exceptional service. The food was very good, and Annette was great keeping our coffee refilled.

I believe employees set the atmosphere of the hotel. Annette in the hostess dining area made my day with her lovely personality, remembering me and where I liked to sit. She cared about guests as I watched her interact with other guests. What a great way to start my day!!!
