During our stay, we experienced an few issues that I feel need to be addressed, as they are not in line with basic hotel cleanliness or guest service standards. On our first night, when we pulled back the sheets to go to bed, we found crumbs and dried rice between them. My son had also found rice on the chair earlier. Had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Plainview–Long Island. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. Our first room unfortunately wasn’t clean, but Patrick, the manager at the front desk, addressed the issue right away and gave us another room. There’s also a restaurant, Bistro 495, on the property, which is very convenient. Everything worked perfectly: Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and plenty of parking.

I recommend every bride to stay at the Holiday Inn in Plainview. We had started our search for a hotel room block very early in our planning process. Although we found the Holiday Inn by accident, we will be back. I used a service to arrange our hotel block and discovered the Holiday Inn in Plainview. This place is a dump. I don’t normally leave negative reviews for lodging, but this one deserves it. While the lobby appears to have been recently remodeled, the rooms are just the opposite. My room did not have any exterior facing windows, and it appears most of the rooms in the hotel were the same. They all face inwards into the hallways with a fake window into nowhere. The bathroom has low ceilings (as-in, you’ll be bumping your head while showering), and the entire place smells like decades-old cigarette smoke covered up... read more

Good location for where i needed to be on Long Island. The employee who checked me in and out was wonderful. The windows to the hallway was odd but not a deal breaker. The rest of the room was huge, the chairs and beds very comfortable. The bathroom was very large compared to most hotel room bathrooms. Overall this was a wonderful stay.
