Our stay here last week was awesome from check-in to check out. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of supplies needed for a week stay. Emily at check-in was very friendly, pleasant and helpful and answered all of our questions. I had an event in the conference room that weekend we were there and that area too was clean and comfortable. Stayed here last night. The air in the room only blows heat. We set it to 68 before bed and woke up in the middle of the night to it being 78 in the room and like a sauna. We opened the balcony door to cool the room and went back to sleep. We addressed with staff at checkout this morning along with a few additional issues: visibly dirty towel hanging in the bathroom and the toilet didn’t flush properly and it ran all night. This was a disappointing experience. First we booked this hotel off the name Holiday Inn expecting a top tier hotel. We picked this particular hotel due to its advertisement of free breakfast which was a lie. They have a in house restaurant & it's not cheap ($9.95 for 2 French toast pieces) but DO NOT offer continental breakfast. 2. The hotel is old & not very appealing. The hotel is beautifully located right by the sea and offers wonderful views of the beach (from certain rooms). The well-maintained pool area is very inviting. The reception staff were very friendly and professional upon arrival. The bright, newly renovated rooms are tastefully and functionally furnished, making you feel right at home. A great choice for a wonderful vacation in Maryland.
Where do I even begin with this? The front desk people were extremely rude and unprofessional. Do people have any integrity anymore? The woman gave me such an attitude like I was bothering her when I arrived to check in. I guess she didn’t feel like doing her job. I should have known at that point how the stay was going to go.
