The "pinesol" smell in the lobby was almost unbearable. We went into the bar for drinks and a bite to eat and the smell was in there, too. Not as intense but noticeably, enough. Additionally, we asked for an ADA room with a walk-in shower and received a room with a tub shower. However, the room was spacious and clean and we enjoyed our stay.
Stayed here last night. The air in the room only blows heat. We set it to 68 before bed and woke up in the middle of the night to it being 78 in the room and like a sauna. We opened the balcony door to cool the room and went back to sleep. We addressed with staff at checkout this morning along with a few additional issues: visibly dirty towel hanging in the bathroom and the toilet didn’t flush properly and it ran all night. This hotel is under renovation but ran into mgmt working on Thanksgiving with their crews. They aren’t wasting any time in the off season. Staff were incredibly polite, views amazing, and beds comfy. We had a handicap room where drain doesn’t work too good but other than that perfect!
The hotel is beautifully located right by the sea and offers wonderful views of the beach (from certain rooms). The well-maintained pool area is very inviting. The reception staff were very friendly and professional upon arrival. The bright, newly renovated rooms are tastefully and functionally furnished, making you feel right at home. A great choice for a wonderful vacation in Maryland.
Front desk staff were very friendly (Zuma thanks for taking care of us). Unfortunately we only stayed 1 of our 3 night booking in a King accessible room with roll-in shower. If you are in a wheelchair, the accessible bathroom (which we were told multiple times was ADA compliant), is too small and difficult to maneuver a wheelchair and there are no grab bars by the toilet.
