Front desk staff were very friendly (Zuma thanks for taking care of us). Unfortunately we only stayed 1 of our 3 night booking in a King accessible room with roll-in shower. If you are in a wheelchair, the accessible bathroom (which we were told multiple times was ADA compliant), is too small and difficult to maneuver a wheelchair and there are no grab bars by the toilet. The hotel is beautifully located right by the sea and offers wonderful views of the beach (from certain rooms). The well-maintained pool area is very inviting. The reception staff were very friendly and professional upon arrival. The bright, newly renovated rooms are tastefully and functionally furnished, making you feel right at home. A great choice for a wonderful vacation in Maryland.
This particular property has become my wife and I's goto for Ocean City. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the pool, the poolside café, fire pit, etc. are all excellent. The workout room is more than adequate. The on-site restaurant is also very good. Having learned to use the all day pass beach bus means I leave my car parked here and bus around town.
October 2024 - One of the most ideal experiences we ever had in an IHG hotel, as a platinum member we got a suite with a beautiful high rise beach view. The place was clean and had everything we needed for our autumn vacation. We love going to Ocean City to enjoy the beach and to go to Assateague Island nearby. Our accommodations were perfect: jacuzzi tub, a room with a beach ocean view, east beach access, a full kitchen to cook, and living room & dining room area. Location is great, outdoor pool area is nice and well kept. Probably a nice spot to stay if you have kids or want easy pool and beach access. Staff were kind, and the hotel was clean although very dated. For that reason, I personally wouldn’t stay here again. My room smelled “old” , and just not very pleasant honestly. I’d stay at the Best Western or Residence Inn right on 64th instead
