Pro: I come to Salinas about every month and a half for work, and this is the first time I’ve been able to stay at this hotel since it’s usually fully booked. I’m glad I finally got a room because it’s a great hotel. The rooms are nice and the bed is incredibly comfy—truly, the bed is comfy! They have a short bus that comes here every morning. The bus sits outside from 3:00am-6:00am. The bus revs its engine or its air conditioner turns on every 30 seconds and it’s super loud. The front desk person said they would make a note and move my room. The other side of the hotel is the freeway side. I specifically booked this side so it would be quieter. Paid 150 for the night. Had very clean rooms with very large beds and very spacious room. Very nice gym and hotel had fresh hot breakfast as well which was free. Free parking and very safe area as well. I’m very satisfied with the price location and kindness of the staff
From all the traveling and stays so far what I’ve seen is that ihg hotels are pretty consistent and pretty great for the price. Compared to trashy independent motels that cost almost the same, the ihg ones are always reliable and are 10x better for not that much more money. This one in Salina’s was extra good with clean rooms with no funky smells lot of parking and friendly checkin.
Pool has been closed since the covid-19 pandemic. It's 2026. Open up the pool! The people, united, will never be defeated...by hotel management that denies them their right to a pool! ✊🏻🏊🏻♂️
