Although I was only here for a short business trip, I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are spacious, bright, and spotless, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and I really appreciated the large desk, which would have been perfect for working. The pools are great, with plenty of sun loungers. This trip did not start off well for us, which was no fault of the hotels but we did have trouble checking in because of banking issues & the holiday weekend. The front desk person wanted to help but didn't know how & the manager during our check in wasn't willing to assist at first. We suggested shortening the stay to work issues out with our bank & finally they were able to accommodate. Our room was a king suite with a balcony, & it was just okay. Did need some updates. Had an excellent stay at this location and what really stood out was the customer service. From the front desk attendants, the bellman, housekeeping to the restaurant staff, everyone was a pleasure to meet. The workers look happy and they went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. This was our first stay at this Hilton resort and I really wish it was better. Unfortunately this property offers zero Hilton Honors recognition for any status you may carry with Hilton. If you need water to refill your water bottles beware you only have one location and that’s in the lower level at the gym. I have Diamond status with Hilton and the two girls at the front desk begrudgingly gave my daughter and I two bottles of water and acted like they were doing us a favor. I don’t often find myself wanting to stay at a hotel and never leave, but that’s exactly the feeling you get at the Hilton Oak Brook Resort & Conference Center. From the moment you pull in, the grounds are absolutely immaculate. Everything is beautifully maintained, and once you step inside, the hotel is just as gorgeous.
