Great stay. The room was very nice...its been updated. The price was excellent. They do need to make a very inviting smoking area away from the main rooms. Some guests were smoking weed and the rooms do not have AC so the windows have to be opened. I complained and the desk did call and make people stop smoking on the windward side. But the leeward side still wreaked. I made a suggestion to a staff member to create a place smokers would want to congregate and the boy had a melt down emotionally. Some of the view is pretty but the cleaners they use STINK. I tried to air out the room just to be able to be inside. The king sized bed is cool but the staff seems to be lacking. I made reservations and the guy did not inform me about a deposit when I made the reservation. I like to pay in cash. So many signs and rules up for such a run down place. If I could give less than one star I would. I have never left a hotel stay early. After checking in and exploring the amenities, I went to the front desk and asked for a refund. The front desk attendant was unable to accommodate, and left a message with their manager. The manager didn't call me. I called, left a message. No response. I called two more times and left messages for the manager. I never received any customer service, I didn't receive a refund. The rooms are outdated and musty. Towels are thin as paper. Absolutely stunning stay at Gold Beach Inn! The ocean views from the balcony were breathtaking, and falling asleep to the sound of waves was pure magic. The staff was warm and welcoming, making everything feel easy and relaxed. Loved the hot tubs overlooking the Pacific—such a perfect touch. The room was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed. I’ll definitely be returning. This place is a true gem on the Oregon coast. Five stars! Close to the Samuel Boardman scenic corridor and more

Room was very comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was okay but nothing to brag about. No working exhaust fan in bathroom . Closest ice machine didn't work and was told pool/ hot tub was not working, waiting on a part. Nice place just needs some maintenance.
