Never, ever have I had a problem with FCU. I have been a member over 25 years at the Ocala office on East Silver Springs Blvd. and now Belleview and will remain a member. Everyone is friendly, know!edgable and nice. It is a pleasure to be a member. Keep up the good work FCU. and. Thank you.
We changed to Florida Credit Union because of their location in Belleview. We banked with Chase, and Campus for years and never a problem. Since day 1, we had problems. I won't mention every complaint from day1, but I will elaborate on the last episode today 8/6/2025 around 3:55 and 4:00. My husband went to the the bank to make a deposit since we are slowly moving everything to FCU(not now), he had 4 - $100.00 bills and put his card in the teller machine outside, and then of course the $400.00. I waited on hold for OVER 25 minutes! And I was never was helped. There is no option to speak to someone about generalized questions. I cannot believe the lack of customer service here. Guess it's a good thing no one ever answered the phone, I almost ended up opening an account with this place. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to actually get a hold of someone when you NEED monetary assistance. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
How do u react to this scenario? You walked to a credit union that u put all your money and being disrespected by one of the agent! I’m working in a costumer service for a long period of time and I know exactly how to approach costumers/patients. I had to make sure that they are comfortable talking to me with a respectful manners! Either new or old costumers we still have to offer them help! Today my sister and I went inside the bank to deposit money (we have a joint account) the teller tells us there's a problem with someone having a link in our account to send us money because if they wanted they could also withdraw money. I told the teller that it was my daughter she owed my sister some money and that it was okay with us and proceeded to ask her that they not block it in any way and she said they weren't that they just weren't going to be liable and I told her we were not going to hold them liable.
