Location was marvelous! Limited ocean views available but if you can score one go for it! Dog friendly, we brought our dog and she made friends with other visiting pooches. Pretty clean, bare minimum invested in decor. Tile and some fixtures look new other things worn, but nothing was gross or unsanitary. Office is not on site so if you have a problem (like dead batteries in the remote), you will have to trek over to another site or make friends with some of the cleaning staff. It's basically on the beach, which is really the only plus. Not clear at booking: check in and front desk are a block away at a sister location, parking = 5 spots on site otherwise you can park for free at the sister hotel if you can find a spot. First room smelled bad and seemed damp, sink didn't drain. Second room was still damp and just didn't seem...clean. I wore my shoes inside because the carpets were so gross looking. Jim, Vanessa, Rebecca.. front office staff that I met were all very friendly and helpful, same experiences with several of the cleaning crew, genuinely nice and helpful staff! You can tell they care about the customer. Location is perfect in PB. Everything is near and you can take the boardwalk anywhere.. I know I live down the street but needed a place while it’s being remediated and landed at the Blue Head Inn. Rooms are a great size. Love this place, coming back again for sure. Love the location, literally two minutes from the Beach. Honestly, I could live here. I'm coming back here for sure. Thanks to Vanessa who took very good care if us. She was awesome, made our stay a pleasant one..

Location was perfect. I guess I would’ve liked to have an oven as well, But the stovetop managed. Just didn’t get to cook my banana bread that I was going to leave as a parting gift. Thus is life. Good stay.
