We have had the best experience at this hotel. From the comfort too the food and service, this hotel has been one of my favorite stays. The staff is genuinely friendly, kind, and happy to help. Our bed is comfy and our view of Knoxville is probably the best in the city. Great value for your dollar and within walking distance of everything the city has to offer.

The Crowne makes it so easy to work with for business events and overnight programs. Jeff, the sales manager, is great at accommodating our needs and makes sure we have everything that we need.The hotel looks great and updated renovations rooms are always greatly received. From the check-in set-up tables on the mezzanine level, to the ballroom ambiance and dinner food--our event at the Crowne Plaza was wonderful. We have our annual year end conference for a client here the past two years and each year the quality of service from the staff, the food and the overall experience has been second to none. Specifically, Skylar Hopkins and Chareen Gould. Chareen makes sure every detail is accounted for and the event runs flawlessly. Skylar goes above and beyond beyond to make sure the set up is exactly right. Fantastic hotel in downtown Knoxville. This place is really top-notch. Despite being an older hotel, this place is very well kept and classy. Great location near Gay Street, Market Square and the old city. Parking garage underneath the hotel leads right in to the main lobby with just a few steps. Maybe the fastest check-in I’ve ever had at a hotel. Rooms are very nice and modern with everything that you can ask for. thanksgiving buffet, 11/27/25...have to say the 20% gratuity forced on the bill by the hotel was a surprise...not a good one! aside from that, the tables were so close together that I could barely move out without relocating my next table 'neighbor'...better job could have been done. The buffet? mostly cold "hot food" or room temp at best..due to the 'heaters' holding the food not operating correctly...dishes were 'scared' beyond "old" and should have been replaced or you should use plates that were not so scratched up...... read more
