There are not enough words to describe how well the CTH team knocked our wedding weekend OUT OF THE PARK!!! For starters, the hotel manager Lindsay Land truly is one of the best people we’ve met throughout our 2 years of planning. She was responsive, helpful, thoughtful and reassuring with all details leading up to the big day. This is NOT the place to stay if you are a light sleeper. PROS: Unique shoe-themed property nodding to its past as the 5th largest shoe company in the world. Several (not all) front desk staff were polite and helpful. Large, spacious room and huge bathroom with an exceptionally large shower. At check-in, staff gives you a small vial of essential oil for the in-room diffuser, which also works as a background noise machine with bird song, babbling brook, ocean waves, and other nature sounds. If you’re looking to use the event space for a wedding or other event I would recommend! The event manager is very organized, super friendly, and helpful. We did not book the venue unfortunately, due to other reasons not related to the venue. It is a pretty venue and feels very clean. The hotel itself has many friendly employees, and is very well maintained.
I’ll start off by saying the hotel is very cute but unfortunately once we checked in and went to our room we had walked into someone else room! (The person who check in before us) somehow the lady at the front desk managed to book us in the same room as them and it was very awkward and uncomfortable walking in on another guest we kept on apologizing to the couple although it was the hotels mistake. Woah this place is just cool. Book your stay, you want regret it. Bed and breakfast vibe, unique building, awesome rooms. Front desk attendant working the night of my visit, 10/2, matched the vibe. 10/10
