All of the above is great at Commonwealth senior living. I have no experience with the memory care level there so I can't comment. I'd give the independent and assisted living levels a five. A really friendly staff, good general care, lots of activities and transportation services provided, adequate apartment sizes. Good cleanliness, really nice dining room rooms, sparkly clean though I've heard the food is a little bland.

As far as the Cleanliness, I have visited at times and the urine odor is so overwhelming. I feel they could improve in cleaning my brother's room better. The staff are usually friendly, but they have had situations where they had agency nurses who are not very involved, but socializing. There is a break down in communications, which is on going. I would give each category a 5! We all love Commonwealth and are so happy that we chose it for our mom. It's clean and feels safe. Everyone is very kind.

The staff at Commonwealth was very helpful when we moved my mom into memory care. They provide a welcoming, safe and engaging environment with a variety of activities for residents. They interviewed our family to understand my mom's life story and her unique interests.

There's no large buy in fee, the apartments rent month-to-month. The staff is really nice there as well as all the tenants I've met. Everything except the laundry fee is included in the monthly fee, including two meals a day for independent living, and three meals for assisted-living. The facility is always clean and bright.

I thank[name removed] so much for helping me and guiding me. Commonwealth has been the best thing for my brother. When he initiated came to Commonwealth, he was dependent on staff in getting out of bed and assistance with his incontinence care. He is now able to get out of bed and transfer to his wheelchair by himself. He is wearing pull ups instead of briefs for his incontinence care and is able to take himself to the bathroom. I like just about everything about the facility. The staff at all levels is extremely friendly and competent. The residents are also very cordial and welcoming. I wish they had gym facilities. The cost is very reasonable. The food is mediocre. I would recommend CSL for any prospective residents.
