Loved this place. We’re just back from a month long trip to the USA. Stayed one night here and this place was absolutely the best value for money out of everywhere that we stayed. Location was very close to the centre of town and could easily be walked or you could take a bus. Room was lovely, two comfortable beds, extremely clean, spacious. What you get is five star value for moderately priced hotel/motel in a very expensive holiday destination. The rooms are spacious. The amenities are more than sufficient. The staff is tremendous, cheery, and helpful. You're a short walk from downtown.

I recently spent two nights at the Cape Colony Inn. first and foremost, I cannot say enough about the hotel manager, and the two separate staff members I interacted with at the front desk. They were extremely accommodating to me, allowing me to check in early due to unforeseen circumstances with my itinerary. They are kind, informative, and very customer service oriented. The staff were excellent, super nice and helpful! and the appearance was tidy at first glance. However, the cleanliness was very concerning. I noticed germs everywhere, even on the controller, and there was mold in the bathroom. The vending machine didn’t accept dollar bills or credit cards. I had to go to the front desk three times just to get a cold drink. Thankfully, the staff was able to help, but they only had $3 worth of quarters left. This was great for what we were looking for and that was a 2 bedroom place, close to Commercial street. The fact that it had a pool was a huge bonus as we had a kid with us. It was a nice walk to the center of town but a little far especially after a long day. But the bonus side of the walk is it wasn’t loud at night. The rooms were fine but the refrigerator hummed all night. Breakfast was ok with muffins, cereal and yogurt options. And parking right outside our door which was great too.
