This hotel has a great deal of character. So many things I loved about it. I probably would have given 5 stars; but there were a few minor inconveniences. LOVE: Free morning coffee in the lobby, beautiful decor, spa-like shower sundries. This hotel makes a hotel experience seem less commercialized and more personal. We came here on Sunday and spent a week here. In the seven days we had room service One time. The morning staff is awful. Chuck in the evening is amazing at the bar but anything else zero out of 10. This morning we walked down to the front desk and we told them that room service hadn’t shown up in days and they assured us that it would happen today. We came back after being gone for eight hours and still no toilet paper our room is a mess and all of our cups over the week are still on our dresser. This place is unacceptable ... read more

Have been staying at this hotel for at least 5 consecutive years as we are visiting family in Oregon. We love the vibe of the hotel, the spacious rooms and friendly staff. It’s a pity how many homeless are in this area (though it seems to have improved a little).The rooms will need to be renovated soon though.

Overall a good hotel. The rooms layout is very modern and convenient. Hotel is very clean and in a good area with lots of restaurants nearby. Hotel has a nice bar and open seating area. Chuck the bartender is very nice and welcoming, he goes out of his way to make your stay a great one. He even made a list of restaurant recommendations for us to visit.

The best part of our stay was the food service staff. We were there Friday night and really enjoyed sitting at the bar for cocktails and a late night sandwich. Breakfast the next day was served quickly, hot and fresh. They understand hospitality is making quests feel welcome and appreciated. This was our second time staying in this hotel and I'm glad we did.
