Stayed here for the weekend and had a decent experience. Check-in was easy, and the lady who helped us was very friendly. Our room was clean, spacious, and the bathroom was ok. The water refill station and microwave on our floor (9) were nice perks. The location was great with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. A couple of downsides—there’s no self-parking, only valet, which I’m not a fan of because I prefer to park my car myself. I had a great stay at the Hilton Canopy Portland Pearl District. Check-in: Super easy check-in process. The front desk person was incredibly friendly and full of helpful information. She was clearly busy but kept her cool and stayed completely professional. Room: The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was great, though the sheets seemed a little small for the mattress and kept coming untucked — still very comfy overall. We popped in last minute for an extra night for our son’s birthday trip to Portland & Wesley, the manager at the front desk was incredibly kind— our son had a big smile on his face as he walked into our room & saw some cookies with a card for him on the table. The room was great. We appreciate the plethora of lighting options & some of the lights having more of an amber bulb was a big plus— we absolutely hate fluorescent lighting so the warm lighting made the space a 10/10. Overall everything is pretty great! Food is served quick-service style and has remarkably cheap pizza and beer. Taste and value are well above average for Hilton food. The biggest issue is the menu is tiny, they only have appetizers - no main courses.

Rooms/Service - When we checked in, the room was slightly dirty, but when we told the front desk they said "what would you like us to do" rather than offering solutions upfront, which made us feel like we were the ones causing the headache...otherwise however, service was great throughout our stay. Location - while Pearl District is by no means the best neighborhood in Portland, it's a good combination of immense walkability and tranquility.
