My parents and I stayed at Calistoga Hot Springs for three nights and had a nice stay. Since we visited during the week, it was not very crowded. The pools were great, and we liked having different water temperatures to choose from. Our room had a small kitchenette with everything we needed, and it was comfortable for our stay. The staff was nice enough and helpful when needed. The only thing we did not like was that there is no restaurant on the property. The property is clean and amenities like EV charging, kitchenettes, and outdoor seating and grilling in addition to the five geothermal pools is much appreciated; however the resort seems to have a bit of an identity crisis in regards to who it is targeting. I’ve been several times before and it was much more family friendly; however with the spa and mud bath emphasis the property seems to be trying to up level itself. I have visited here many times. It never disappoints. Beautiful setting as you enjoy the pools, the fire pit at night and the sound of water. Very relaxing. The mud bath is amazing. You are suspended in this wonderful volcanic ash, peat moss, mineral water mixture. After the mud bath I was treated to a mineral bath, a eucalyptus stream bath and finally a cooling table to rest. We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property, and despite a noisy night caused by other guests in the hallway, the experience overall was truly wonderful. Came here for a massage and to use their pools. Dawn gave me the BEST swedish massage. I really felt like she did a great job tailoring the massage to my needs. Spa locker rooms were clean and well kept. My partner was waiting by the pool by buying a pool pass. We were able to doordash some food and hang out by the pool all day! There are pergolas around the pools so we were able to escape the sun. They have plenty of sun loungers and tables to sit - full sun or not. Had a great time, would visit again.
