At no time was a charge attempted on my card, and I did not receive a phone call, voicemail, or email from the hotel. I was actively monitoring my phone, especially given it was a holiday and graduation weekend for my family. Decided to book due to the pictures looking nice online. Boy was I wrong. Check in went great staff was amazing. We came with our toddler and our very young baby as this was my Mother’s Day trip and first chance to get out of house after giving birth. We get in our rooms it’s kinda small but not a big deal room looked decent. As the night goes on it gets worse and worse. I was hesitant to stay here because of the mixed reviews, but I was booking so close to memorial day that I didn’t have many choices. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! The staff were kind and accommodating. The room was clean and we had a great ocean view from the balcony! The hotel is also on a nice, quieter chunk of the shoreline.
Wish I would have listened the the reviews warning us to stay away. Went for our honeymoon. The beds felt like both 1000lb sisters slept in them at the same time. One bed had a 30 degree tilt to it and the other had a huge hole in the middle of it, which is fine if you want to feel like you're sleeping in a hammock. I also pushed the dresser against the wall because it was pulled out when we first got to the room and under the dresser there were press on nails and coffee stirrer underneath. Was hesitant at first to book this hotel due to reviews, but the hotel was not as bad as it was made out to be. Had a few issues but nothing crazy. Got there at 3:10 to check in, the gentlemen said we would be on the 4th floor. We asked if there was anyway we could get a high floor. He said if we waited until 4 (check in time) we could have the 12th floor. My family and I left to grab a bite to eat and came back around 4:15.
