I do not recommend moving a loved one here. They will not get the proper care they need. Building is always short staffed and management is not helpful at all.

Buchanan Meadows hominess feel is just what is missing in so many other assisted living facilities. As soon as you walk in you feel like you're right at home. The staff is always helpful and friendly and everything is clean and fresh smelling. The food at the Meadows is amazing and home cooked. They do their best to accommodate even the pickiest of eaters. My mom was here for a short time, but they were able to provide her wonderful care and comfort during her transition to end of life. Everyone was wonderful and friendly, the place was clean and cheerful. We had great communication and the place was open for visiting at any time. My mom mentioned she wished she would have allowed us to move her there years before.

This place is good for people who still have a lot of freedom and mobility and just need a little help from time to time but not for those who require a greater level of care. The employees are all friendly and seem to care about the residents, but IMO they are just too understaffed to properly care for those who need more help and they do not always communicate or document things as well as they should. I am so very thankful for the loving care that my grandmother, a resident at Buchanan Meadows, receives. Myself and my family appreciate the personalized care along with all the wonderful activities and experiences that the staff at Buchanan Meadows offers for my grandmother and other residents. The staff have put our minds at ease as they take such great care of our wonderful grandmother! Thank you Buchanan Meadows staff!
