My mother was a resident of Buchanan Meadows for 6 months and our family is thankful and beyond blessed by the care that she received there. Everyone on staff was wonderful; they treated her with care and respect, along with all of her family and friends who visited. The cleanliness and feeling of home was unmatched. To this day, I still almost make the turn to start heading that way and honestly, if I did it, I wouldn’t hesitate to go visit.

I appreciate the home-like feel if this community. It's nice that the small number of residents are divided into several smaller households, with their own dining halls. When I met the Executive Director, Kristin, and Charlotte, the Activities Director, last week, it was obvious they care deeply for their residents and work hard to create a sense of community. 🙏☯️♥️ -Kristy Putnam

Buchanan Meadows hominess feel is just what is missing in so many other assisted living facilities. As soon as you walk in you feel like you're right at home. The staff is always helpful and friendly and everything is clean and fresh smelling. The food at the Meadows is amazing and home cooked. They do their best to accommodate even the pickiest of eaters. My mom was here for a short time, but they were able to provide her wonderful care and comfort during her transition to end of life. Everyone was wonderful and friendly, the place was clean and cheerful. We had great communication and the place was open for visiting at any time. My mom mentioned she wished she would have allowed us to move her there years before.

This place is good for people who still have a lot of freedom and mobility and just need a little help from time to time but not for those who require a greater level of care. The employees are all friendly and seem to care about the residents, but IMO they are just too understaffed to properly care for those who need more help and they do not always communicate or document things as well as they should.
